Valletta: The Historic Capital Valletta, Malta’s capital, is a UNESCO World Heritage site, renowned for its well-preserved historic buildings and fortifications. Strolling through its streets, visitors can admire the baroque architecture, such as the majestic St. John’s Co-Cathedral, which houses Caravaggio’s masterpiece, “The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist.” We enjoyed leisurely walks in the Upper Barrakka Gardens for panoramic views of the Grand Harbour.
